Purchasing Wire Partitions? Learn What Customizable Features You May Wish To Add

Posted on: 20 April 2016

Wire partitions can be used to create a safe place to lock up valuables in your office, warehouse or retail store. They are durable, inexpensive and allow customers and employees to see what is stored inside. If you are looking to purchase these and use them in your business, you may not realize that there are customizable features that you can purchase and use in conjunction with your partitions. These can add features that can make your life easier or make the storage area formed with the partitions more secure. Here are a few of the customizable features you should consider when purchasing wire partitions.

Doors

In some instances, you may be purchasing small partitions to store small items, such as employee laptops that aren't in use or tobacco products that you sell. In other cases, you may be looking to purchase large partitions and make a large storage area to secure large items like televisions and bicycles. If you are making a large storage area, you may want to consider purchasing a wire partition door. These come in either swinging or sliding versions. This is much easier than having to move an entire partition each time you want to access anything in the storage space.

Wheels

Wheels or casters can be add to the bottom of your wire partitions. This allows you to easily move the storage box that you have created with the wire partitions. If you are constantly moving inventory around a warehouse or retail store, being able to move the wire partitions easily and quickly can be beneficial. Purchasing wheels is a great way to do this.

Shelving

The last customizable feature you can purchase to increase the efficiency of your wire partitions is shelving. There are different types of shelves that are sold that hang directly off of your wire partitions. These shelves don't take up any floor space in your wire partition cage, allowing you to make the most of vertical space. If you are looking to stack items or want to ensure everything stays organized, shelving for your wire partitions is a must.

Theft can cost your business a lot of money. As such, it is important to take steps to prevent theft from both customers and employees. Wire partitions can create storage lockers that help to keep high-value items safe. However, the partitions are not the only things you need to buy when setting up a storage cage. You can customize your cage by adding sliding or swinging doors, wheels or wire partition shelving.

Swimming Pool Design Dilemma

I decided to have a swimming pool put in my back yard last summer. I remembered the pool that my grandparents had when I was a little kid, and I thought that it would be just a simple rectangular pool like theirs. But when I began researching and talking to swimming pool contractors, I found out that I had a lot more design options than I had originally thought. Picking out the pool design and pool features that I wanted was harder than I would've thought, but I wound up with a great free form pool with a few fun features. I love it and I use it daily. I decided that I would start a blog to share what I’d learned about swimming pool design, and how to work with contractors, to help others resolve their own pool design dilemmas.
